Our dogs and puppies are part of our family! From the second they are born; they are very much loved and cared for. At just three days old, we start early neurological stimulation using the Puppy culture techniques and the Bad Ass Breeder protocols. Pups are very well socialized and introduced to many different sights/sounds and scents to assure that our pups are well rounded and confident! At just 2 1/2 weeks old we start to potty train our babies in a litter box. After the first vaccine at 6 weeks, we start taking the pups outside to potty many times per day. The pups LOVE being outside where they can run and play in the grass. Between 4 and 5 weeks the puppy pen is expanded again, and we start introducing them to the crate. We make the crate a happy place for the pups. We start with short naps and eventually pups are sleeping in an individual crate at night.
All of our puppies come home with age-appropriate Vaccines, De-worming, Clear fecal exam and vet health exam by a licensed veterinarian. We use Eastman Animal Hospital, located in Midland, Michigan. If you would like a vet reference, please feel free to contact them!
There is NO guarantee on the EXACT size your puppy will mature to. We make our very best educated guesses, but genetics are NOT black and white when it comes to adult sizes.
All of our puppies come home with a FREE 30 days of TRUPAINION health insurance. It is mandatory that the insurance is activated before the puppy leaves our hands. The insurance will fall off at the end of the 30 day trial period. We highly recommend you continue insurance past the free 30 days but that is optional.
Yes, dachshunds are shedding dogs. Dachshunds are NOT a breed for a family with dog allergies.
Our puppies are on Royal Canin Dachshund Puppy. We do sometimes also use Purina Pro Plan Toy breed chicken and rice formula. Make sure to ask me what food they are currently eating to avoid confusion!
All of our puppies are microchipped through Fi Nano before they go to their forever families. We do remain on the microchip for the lifetime of the dog as a third party in the background. We feel very responsible for every puppy we produce!
Yes, all of our dogs are at a MINIMUM DNA health tested before bred. We do our very best to make sure they also have OFA Patella, heart and Eyes as well.
We do offer delivery of our puppies via Ground transport or flight at an additional cost to the buyer. Additionally, the buyer is able to pick up the puppy in person, or we do also meet at Detroit Metro airport or Flint Bishop airport at no extra cost.
We keep all of our babies until at least 8 weeks old. We do reserve the right to keep litters past the 8-week mark due to the breeder's discretion.
We accept Venmo, Zelle and Cash
We do remove hind dew claws IF they are loose and could cause future problems. We rely on our licensed veterinarian to make the decision on an individual basis.
